BEFORE YOU RENT:

Make sure that you have access to an electrical outlet.  Usually your garage or an outside outlet on your rental unit will have one.   All of our carts are electric and need to be recharged between uses.

You won't have to be there for delivery.  If you include your approximate arrival time we can usually have your cart waiting for you, depending on the parking availability.  Most units in the Mauna Lani have driveways that allow temporary parking. We will send you a video outlining the cart features and basic use.

All drivers must have a valid driver's license, no exceptions.  If you'd like you can set up more than one person as a driver.  All drivers will need to sign waiver's of liability and agree to all Rules and Regulations set up by Kohala Beach Buggies and any resort carts are being used in, as well as local private road requirements.

Carts may be used in designated areas ONLY.  Carts may never be used on roads with speed limits over 25 MPH, which means that they cannot leave the resort complex.

All of our carts are tagged with anti-theft tracking devices.   This data is only used for the purpose of finding a cart for pick-up after a rental period or finding a cart reported as missing.  We do not store any data on cart movement.  

 

Here's the process for rental:

 

- Complete the contact request form, making sure to include all fields.  

- We will send you a rental invoice, Rules and Regulations, and Waiver's of Liability. 

- Payment is required 1 week prior to rental period start.

- Waiver's and Rules Agreement contract must be completed before delivery.

- At the completion of your rental, contact us to advise cart is ready for pick-up.
